Better Impact helps LWR CERT manage and track our 240+ volunteers. Members may access Better Impact to: 

  • Log and track volunteer hours 
  • Update your interests 
  • Take short eLearning modules to keep your skills up to date 
  • Update your contact information

Readiness Conditions

Actions by Condition and Position

LWR CERT is always in one of six Readiness Conditions, ranging from RC 6 (Training) to RC 1 (Activate). The current Readiness Condition is displayed at the top of the Member Portal. As LWR CERT moves into and out of Readiness Conditions 4, 3, 2 or 1, an email will be sent to all current members and our response partners informing them of the change.

Click the Team Map button, then click your team number on the map to display your radio channel and privacy codes plus the neighborhoods in your teams activation area. Click the Team Page to access your team’s home page where you will find forms and maps specific to your team that are needed during activation. You’ll also find the radio instruction manuals.

In addition to your CERT Basic Training, other training opportunities abound.
